I missed the game yesterday - at a wedding - but watched Sky highlights 3 times. You can't really get to know how the game went from highlights.
I was very pleased at result and impressed with Haller but blimey! Our defence is useless...

Maybe the balance from the starting 11 needs a small tweak. Noble in for Wilshere helped, Antonio for Yarmolenko is probably the most sensible change.
Either Yarmolenko & Lanzini need to track back more or can’t both play?

Even though it's clear we need to tighten up at the back and our forward players need to track back more (good luck with that one) I don't buy into this fear/suggestion that just because Watford had 23 shots the same thing could happen again next week and beyond. Each game is different and there is training to sort these things out. I'd rather look at it that we got away with it rather than thinking Naarwich next week will also have 23 shots, I don't think they will.

Defensively we are a mess, but then so are a lot of side. I say defensively but realistically it’s all the attacking players in midfield who don’t bother tracking back.
Noble was giving them some verbal before and after they got their goal.
We got overrun a lot down the outside too as there was no cover for the fullbacks.

Yarmalenko Anderson and lanzini show no interest in getting goal side. A few times Watford were attacking our goal and we still had 5 up. You attack as a team you defend as a team

Yes. His pathetically obvious play acting will really help him get those decisions from referees in future. The referee had already given the penalty. You could see the look of disgust on his face when he saw Lanzini clutching his face. He probably even thought he might have made a mistake.

Our players have to act it out for the cretins with the whistle.
Given Lanzini got a 2 match ban for being chopped in half by a Stoke player he probably feels he needs to make it obvious what has happened

Not my favourite aspect of his game and I would like a no diving clause in his new contract.
That said, watching it again he was caught in the face(barely). At least not Rivaldo-esque.

I agree about Lanzini rolling around and clutching his face. He doesn't need to do that, way over the top. It was a penalty without all that shit.
As for the female commentator, she sounds like a right cunt. Her voice is a bad impersonation of John Motson doing Jeremy Clarkson.

She may sound awful but she's quite an attractive blonde actually.

You seem to fixate on certain stats (which conveniently suit your agenda) how does 10 shots on target and 3 goals away from home sound to you?
Of course we can pick holes in our defence today (I’d argue our best centre half was sitting on the bench) but going forwards we were exceptional.
2 tricky away games, 4 points, 4 goals. Onto a goal fest against Norwich (for and against!)
